Pockets

Pockets can be added to any of our covers for added functionality.

Trifold Covers: A single pocket is placed at the rear of the cover, with the opening facing outward for easy access.
Bifold Covers: Features a front secretarial pocket for loose papers and cards, plus a rear pocket with the opening facing inward for secure storage.

Embossing Options

Placement & Orientation

Personalize your journal with custom embossing.
Embossing locations vary by cover style:

Trifold covers: Front cover and interior flap
Bifold covers: Front cover only

Text can be embossed horizontally or vertically, so you can choose the orientation and placement that best suits your design.

Characters & Symbols

Our standard alphabet is available in both uppercase and lowercase letters (A–Z).

Letters: A–Z and a–z
Numbers: 0–9
Punctuation . , : ; ' " ( ) ° ? ! - &
Symbols: tree, heart, paw print, star, sun, shamrock, infinity

Accented characters (such as À, Â, É, Ö, or Ñ) are not available and will be converted to their standard, unaccented letter equivalents.

To include a symbol in your embossing order, enter an * in the embossing field on the order form and complete your purchase. After placing your order, please email us to let us know which symbol you would like.

Limit & Sizing

Our embossing press can accommodate a maximum of 10 characters per press, including spaces and punctuation.

Standard letters and numbers are approximately 4 mm in height, while symbols are approximately 5 mm in height.

Elastic Bands

The wrap-around elastic can be secured at either the spine or the rear of the cover. Placement is a matter of personal preference; however, many customers prefer the spine placement because it keeps the knot away from the writing surface, allowing the notebook to lie flatter and providing a smoother writing experience.
