About Our Leather

Our vegetable-tanned leather comes from a century-old tannery nestled in the hills of Tuscany, Italy. This top-grade, full-grain leather is dyed with tree barks and other organic materials using traditional methods —crafted with a deep commitment to sustainability. Over time, it develops a rich, lustrous patina that tells the story of its journey and use.
Because leather is a natural material, you may notice subtle variations in color, natural markings like fat lines or veining, and unique textures—each hide carries its own story. With regular use, expect gentle reshaping, soft creases, indentations and scratches, and a deepening patina that reflects its unique story.
Each cover is made entirely by hand using only simple tools and an embossing press—no machines, no mass production. Every piece carries small, human details—the quiet signature of the hands that shaped it.
If you prefer flawless uniformity, our covers may not be the best choice. But if you value character, individuality, and the beauty of a piece that evolves with you, these were made for you.
If your cover is exposed to moisture, simply lay it flat and allow it to air dry naturally. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight to preserve its color and finish. Over time, the natural oils from your hands will enhance its beauty. If the leather begins to feel dry, a light application of leather balm can be gently applied and buffed away.
Embrace the joy of daily use!
